How do I get to Wadi Rum?
Below we describe how to get to Wadi Rum from Amman, Aqaba, and Petra. If you are coming to Wadi Rum from another location and require directions, contact us and we will show you the way.

From Amman
By Car - Head south from Amman on the Desert Highway (Highway 15), which runs the length of the country, from North to South. After approximately 280km (175 miles), you will come to a small settlement called Rashidiyah (الراشدية). To your left will be a turn off to Wadi Rum Road. You will need to go past the turn-off and make a U-turn to get onto Wadi Rum Road. Follow this road for about 20 km (12 miles) until you reach the Wadi Rum Visitor Centre. Pay the entrance fees or show your Jordan Pass, and then continue onwards to the Hasan Group parking area. We will wait for you at our meeting point.
By Bus - You can book with the Jett Bus company as you can book online with them through their site.
By Taxi - You can contact us and we can organize for you a taxi to pick you up at a greed price.

From Petra
By Car – Leave Wadi Musa (the town next to Petra) via highway 35. Continue on this road south until you read Rashidiyah (الراشدية) and the turn off to the Wadi Rum Road on your left. You will have to go past the turnoff, make a U-turn, and then turn right onto Wadi Rum Road. Follow this road for about 20 km (12 miles) until you reach the Wadi Rum Visitor Centre. Pay the entrance fees or show your Jordan Pass and then continue to reach the Hasan group parking area, as we will be waiting for you there.
By Bus – You can book with the Jett Bus company, as you can book online with them through their site.
By Taxi – It is easy to arrange for a private taxi to take you from Petra to Wadi Rum. For an additional cost, we can arrange this taxi for you. Let us know if you require a taxi when making a booking.

From Aqaba
By Car — Head north from Aqaba on Highway 80, following the signs leading to Amman. After about 14 km, continue northwards on the Desert Highway (Highway 15). After 25 km, turn right onto Wadi Rum Road. Follow this road for about 20 km (12 miles) until you reach the Wadi Rum Visitor Centre. Pay the entrance fees or show your Jordan Pass, and then continue onwards to the Hasan group parking area. We will be waiting for you there.
